Tom Hanks sings Single Ladies

Tom Hanks does his rendition of Beyonce's 'damn good song'. All I gotta say is stick to acting.

Kanye West- Glow In The Dark Book Promo

A little promotional video for Kanye's book from his excursions on the Glow In The Dark Tour. The video is awesome and the pictures look to be just as good.

Drake Performing With Jay-Z

Drake is set to make his return to performing after having knee surgery. What better way to do this than to perform in his home town Toronto with Jay-Z.

Toronto fans are in for a Halloween treat when Jay-Z brings out Drake for his first performance since undergoing surgery.

The “Best I Ever Had” rapper, who has been absent from the spotlight after his September knee surgery, will join Jay-Z on stage at the Air Canada Centre in his hometown tonight during The Blueprint 3 tour with supporting acts N.E.R.D., Wale, and J. Cole.

“This weekend is gonna be my first time back on stage,” Drizzy tells Rap-Up.com. “I’m performing with Jay-Z when he comes to Toronto. This will be my first time back out there. I’m kinda like nervous/excited.”

When asked if he would perform “Off That,” his collaboration with Hov from The Blueprint 3, he responded, “No, I don’t think so.” Instead he revealed that he will perform his own single. “I’m actually performing ‘Successful.’”

New Lupe Fiasco Mixtape Coming

Apparently Lupe feels he's not as relevant as he used to be so he has taken it upon himself to come up with a new mixtape. He plans to continue his Fahrenheit 1/15 series. Is he getting on his Lil Wayne No Ceilings thing, just killing beats?
"Not a diss of the list...knew I wasn't gonna make it ha!...but I'm using the fact that I wasn't on it as an excuse to just start wrecking shit on a frequent basis so by the time the next one comes out I'll be number 1,2,3,4 and 5..." Lupe Fiasco
You can get parts 1-3 here to catch up.

Jay-Z- Empire State Of Mind music video

All I gotta say is Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Hype Williams, and New York City.

Wale- Beautiful Bliss (ft. Melanie Fiona & J. Cole)

I was having a bad day until I found this. What an amazing track from a group of Roc Nation artists. Wale brings J. Cole for a crazy verse and the beautiful Melanie Fiona on the hook. Produced by Mark Ronson and DJ Green Lantern and is off the Attention: Deficit album that apparently leaked from what I've heard.

Hip Hop Official Interview w/ Mike Posner Pt. 1

If you haven't noticed already, I've become a pretty big fan of Mike Posner. His music is just dope with the produced and the singing combined.

Timbaland- Carry Out (ft. Justin Timberlake)

We have yet another track from the leaky faucet that is Timbaland's Shock Value II. He gets together with Justin Timberlake to create the magic they have always made. On another note, the album has been pushed back to December 8th instead of November 23rd.

Usher- Daddy's Home X More

Usher has been dropping some hot music like these two new tracks. The first is produced by The Runners and the second is produced by RedOne. They possibly might be tracks off his upcoming album Raymond Vs. Raymond.

Game- Better Days

A snippet of this leaked a few days ago but here is the full version. It's produced by Jim Jonsin. I feel this should have been a single instead of the other tracks that came out yesterday.

OJ Da Juiceman Vs. Mike Posner - Big Buck Challenge

Just a nice friendly game of Big Buck Challenge between two artists, that's all.

Jay-Z & Alicia Keys Perform At Yankee Stadium

This performance got me really hyped for the game. It will only get better if the ending of the game is just as good as the beginning. Shouts to RR.

Gucci Mane- Wasted Remix (ft. Lil Wayne, Jadakiss & Birdman)

Gucci Mane brings along Lil Wayne, Jadakiss, and Birdman for the remix to his latest single off his upcoming album The State Vs. Radric Davis. Kiss definitely kills it the most.

Lil Wayne- I'm Goin In (Full)

Instead of having verses from Drake and Young Jeezy, Lil Wayne decides to take all 3. You can't be make at that though.

Ludacris & Shawnna - How Low

Ludacris premiered this track at the BET Hip Hop Awards but here goes the album version for Battle Of The Sexes. It's supposedly the first single from it. He rips the beat as always with Shawnna just on the bridge.

Game- Krazy (ft. Gucci Mane & Timbaland)

Screw that video below, here goes the CDQ version of the track. Your thoughts?

Game- Krazy (ft. Gucci Mane & Timbaland)

Game just put up this video for his street single for his R.E.D. Album. It features Gucci Mane and Timbaland, which is kinda a weird combination to me.

J. Cole- Unabomber

Just what I wanted to make this day even better, a new track from J. Cole. I need some more from this dude because every cut I hear from him is fire. You know Karen got that connect.

KiD CuDi Talks new album Cudder

KiD CuDi is working on his next album which will be a compilation. He says Snoop Dogg, Clipse, and Robin Thicke will be on it. He also hopes to get Green Day and Kings Of Leon on it too. It's gonna be a dope album.

Alicia Keys- Sleeping With A Broken Heart

Alicia Keys brings us this banger of a track off her next album. It's a big song for her and I can see it getting turns on the radio. It's produced by Jeff Bhasker, the genius behind some Kanye West and KiD CuDi tracks.

Timbaland- Ease Off The Liquor (ft. SoShy)

Sounds like Timbaland's album might have the same fate as 50 Cent's yesterday. I've got a feeling these leaks are just the beginning of the soon to come flood. This track is kinda funky as his sound usually is. The end is sick with the Merengue style.

Snoop Dogg- Gangsta Luv music video

This tracks bumps and no one can tell me different. The-Dream does his thing on the hook. Nice green screen effects haha.

Soulja Boy- Cortez mixtape

Never thought I would be posting this but Soulja Boy is stepping his game up. This offering is brought to you by DJ Whoo Kid and DJ Scream and features some new tracks with Gucci Mane and others. Two more tapes are coming in the next few days from Soulja Boy too.

Ne-Yo- Never Knew I Needed music video

These are the visuals for this track from Ne-Yo featured on the Disney movie Princess And The Frog soundtrack.

Lupe Fiasco- Say Something Freestyle

Lupe Fiasco goes in for another freestyle, this time over Timbaland's second single Say Something. If he can do this, why can't he put out a single for Lasers. Come on Lupe, let's go.

October 28, 2009

Shwayze- Livin' It Up (ft. Snoop Dogg)

I forgot to post this dope track the other day. Shwayze brings along Snoop Dogg for this cut off his album Let It Beat, which comes out November 3rd.

Kanye Gets Slapped

Kanye gets slapped by Spike Jonze, enough said.

More No Ceilings Tracks?

Apparently there are more songs to come so says the Young Money prez Mack Maine. The leak that came was unofficial and the official version supposedly will have 8 more tracks for a total of 25. It'll be interesting what other tracks Lil Wayne goes over. For now, enjoy this.

DJ Khaled- Fed Up (ft. Usher, Young Jeezy, Rick Ross & Drake)

The first single from DJ Khaled's new album Victory is a monster. It's produced by The Runners and the features are nuts. Just wish Drake's verse was a little longer. Clean version for now. Shouts to OS for track. UPDATE: Dirty thanks to Papa Smirf.

J. Cole A Star Is Born Pt. 3

Here goes part 3 of the interview with J. Cole from KC. He talks about Twitter and his fans.

DJ Hero Commercial With Jay-Z & Eminem

I've been seeing this ever since the game came out. I heard it got really good reviews, maybe I should go get.

Mike Posner - One Foot Out The Door mixtape

Mike Posner's mixtape One Foot Out The Door was supposed to come out in a few days but we get it a little early thanks to DJ Benzi. There are some really dope tracks on this so take a listen.

Big props to RapRadar for ripping this real quick. This kicked off the beginning of the BET Hip Hop Awards 2009.

Wale- Letter (ft. John Mayer)

Wale writes a letter in the form of his lyrics to Obama and Tupac about things. John Mayer provides a nice hook for the track. It's not gonna be on Attention:Deficit but is a great addition to the collection of music. Thanks KC.

Jay-Z To Peform At Yankee Stadium

I just heard about this yesterday. Since the Yankees are in the World Series, Jay-Z is set to perform Empire State Of Mind for game 1 at Yankee Stadium. That's gonna be awesome.

Cookin Soul- Night Of The Living Dead Pt. II Trailer

Last year Cookin Soul gave you part one featuring Notorious BIG's vocals over horror film beats. This year on Halloween night, you get part two with 2Pac. It should be pretty sick.

This cover is dope. The tape is the follow up from his first one titled A Matter Of Time. I'm a big fan of Mike Posner's music. One Foot Out The Door is dropping on October 29th for free on iTunes. Spotted at HHU.

October 22, 2009

Lil Wayne- Swag Surfin' X Wasted

Uh oh, here it comes. Since Lil Wayne might be gone for awhile with the whole gun possession thing, why not give you some new stuff from the man. These both are off the No Ceilings mixtape.

Timbaland - Rumors (ft. Keri Hilson & Jay-Z)

Wow, this track is awesome. Timbaland can really unite great artists to make music. I was hoping for something a little better from Jay but it's dope nonetheless. Shock Value II track for sure. Shouts to OS.

Ne-Yo- Sometimes

Yet another Ne-Yo track produced by Stargate is released. He needs to come out with an album stat because he has so much material on web right now.

Affion Crockett- Hip Hop Dishonors

Affion Crockett spoofs the VH1 Hip Hop Honors as Russell Simons. This is too funny. Who's that playing Rick Rubin?

Lil Wayne To Jail

Apparently stemming from the gun charge in 2007, he is being forced to go to jail.

Lil Wayne will be forced to plead out to a jail term in New York City on Thursday, according to sources with AllHipHop.com.

The rapper is expected to accept an 8-month bid in jail over his alleged involvement with a loaded .40-caliber pistol gun found on his tour bus in 2007 while in New York.

The 27-year-old now faces 15 years in jail for each count of criminal weapons possession and criminal possession of a loaded weapon.

“Wayne is going to plead guilty,” a source close to the case told AllHipHop.com, stressing that this was definitely going to happen. The rapper pleaded not guilty at press time and has yet to make any such public declaration. “The date is coming up and he’s going to do it tomorrow.”

Wayne is rumored to be willing to accept the deal to avoid a long term in jail over the gun. The same source said the term will begin in February of 2010 under the terms of the deal. “If he doesn’t plead, he goes to jail for a long time,” the source said.

“They told him that if he doesn’t plead tomorrow, it will go to trial and then he faces a far longer jail term,” the source continued.

A small amount of DNA may have changed the landscape of the case, according to a report by the Associated Press. There is a “minuscule” amount of the rapper’s DNA on the gun, reports say, and that has strengthened the case for the prosecution.

Another hearing is set to resume tomorrow, where the rapper will reportedly announce his next move.

AllHipHop.com was unable to obtain comment from representatives for Wayne at press time and the rapper didn’t speak to the media at a court date earlier today.

Lil’ Wayne has another trial looming in March over felony drug and weapons charges from a January 2008 police raid.
